I’ve saved more than $25k in my business by creating my own videos, instead of hiring pro video crews to make them for me. In fact, my highest-grossing month ever was the month I started strategically sharing my videos.
I’ve spent my entire career in front of, on-the-side of, and behind professional video cameras. Before I took the biggest leap of my life and started my own coaching company, I worked as a public relations and marketing gal, radio DJ and international video producer. I spent 12+ amazing years traveling the US and abroad getting leadership experts to feel comfortable and compelling on-camera, producing heartwarming video and audio stories of everyday people, writing news releases and award-winning marketing campaigns, and working with executives on how to hit their mark in speeches and presentations.
I knew how to help people find their voice, and sound and feel amazing on-camera. But I had one small problem: when it came to promoting MY business through videos, I didn’t know how. When I started, I had nothing more than an idea and $2,000 in my bank account. I had no budget for making videos, but I knew I needed to find a way.
Finding a solution in what I already had
With no other option, I turned to what I did know and have: 15-years of experience, a smart-phone and a clean corner of my living room.
